Introducing Taylor Maid Farms' New Brand Video

Seriously guys — we love coffee. And nothing pleases us more than to present Taylor Maid Farms' new brand video, made by SoCo Videography with love.

Since its coffee bar opened in The Barlow, Taylor Maid Farms has been special to me. It was my go-to spot when I worked remotely — and let me tell you, no spot is better for working than at the Taylor Maid Farms' coffee bar. It has about fifty seats, many of them equipped with two outlets and a personal desk lamp. The bar has quality coffee, speedy WiFi, and a diverse crowd of patrons. Taylor Maid Farms is one of my favorite Sonoma County secrets, though not-so secret anymore.

"Quality Grows Here"

When we had the opportunity to work with Taylor Maid Farms on a brand video, we felt more than up to the challenge. This coffee roaster and bar has values similar to our own, which sparked an instant understanding that translates into the finished video.

The brand video encapsulates the union between factory and coffee bar, emphasizing the roaster as the beating heart that ties the two sides together. In the theme of "Quality Grows Here," the video is a series of hands pouring, scooping, holding, and stirring — a story of the care that goes into each cup. From the espresso machine to the roaster to the classic tuna can sealer, no part of the coffee process takes ultimate precedence and every action is meaningful. The music, composed by Taylor Maid Farms' own Andrew Maurer, generates warmth — that reassurance of care and quality.

The Video Process

Shot by Jackson Rosenfeld and Stefan Perez using a BlackMagic Ursa camera, the finished video is in crisp 4K resolution with sharp sound quality. Stefan edited and color-graded the video to give it a warm, inviting glow. As roasters scooped and roasted and baristas were steaming and pouring latte creations, we were slicing and dicing in the editing room, hoping to show quality coffee roasting while editing a quality video, too.

Please give the video a watch and let us know what you think. And remember to like Taylor Maid Farms on Facebook or pay them a visit in Sebastopol. Given, I really don't need to ask you — it's coffee after all.

And if you're ever finding you need a quality video yourself, contact us or hit up our services page to see if we're the right fit for you.
